If you do wish to change a scent, you simply pour the wax into the original container and wipe clean with a paper towel. It's that easy. You can also mix and match fragrances to create your own special blend.

Scentsy candle bars are highly scented bars that melt at a very low temperature over a 25 watt light bulb in an exclusive electric warmer. Because there is no open flame like an ordinary scented candle, they are safe around children and pets. A few of my favorites are: Black Raspberry Vanilla which is delicious, sun sweetened dark berries warmed with vanilla. Havana Cabana is a luscious medley of pineapples, oranges, bananas, and berries. I think my absolute favorite (at least for now) is Irish Cream. Smooth and mellow, high-lighted with hints of coffee and chocolate. Yummy! There are fragrances for everyone. You can also mix and match your scents to come up with your own unique scent.

Scentsy candle bars last from 60-80 hours. Depending on the strength of the scent, you will get various hours of continuous fragrance. Different variables in your home such as open windows, or house fans may also alter the time the scents last.

Scentsy uses a food-grade petroleum based wax. (The same wax they spray on apples in the grocery store to give them their shine). Scentsy chose this wax because it is able to hold the scent, melt at a low temperature, yet hold its firmness adding to the ease of its use.

Vegetable waxes do not hold the scents as well, causing you to continuously change wax and/or replace your candle. Scentsy warmers only warm the scent out of the wax. The wax remains in the warmer and does not evaporate, so there are no chemicals being released into the air. You will end up with scentless wax that you will replace with a new Scentsy bar.

Our Scentsy bar temperature is just above body temperature. The wax never gets hot enough to burn anyone since we use a low watt light bulb instead of a flame.

To clean the wax out of the warmer or to change your scent, you simply pour the wax back into its original container or a disposable container and wipe the warmer clean with a paper towel. IT IS JUST TOO EASY!
